Dinamo Kyiv does not want to transfer players for the Ukrainian camp
The Ukrainian Football Federation set up a training camp in Slovenia at the end of April to prepare for the match against Scotland in the play-offs of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
12 players from Dinamo Kyiv, defending champions of Ukraine, have been called up for this national team action.
Dinamo Kyiv have sent a statement to the Ukrainian Federation explaining that they cannot send players to the national team on the date set by coach Oleksandr Petrakov.
According to sport.ua, the team prepared by Mircea Lucescu invoked the commitments made for several charity matches scheduled in Europe in April, but also in early May.
According to Dinamo Kyiv’s official website, the team prepared by Mircea Lucescu has scheduled three other charity matches: April 20 with CFR Cluj, April 26 with Borussia Dortmund, April 28 with Dinamo Zagreb. There are talks for friendlies in Spain and England.
Therefore, Dinamo Kyiv players won’t be able to join the national team until mid-May.
