Liverpool – Chelsea, FA Cup Final
At Wembley, in the 26th FA Cup semi-final in history, Chelsea beat Crystal Palace 2-0 after second-half goals from Loftus-Cheek and Mount.
Loftus-Cheek hadn’t scored for Chelsea since May 2019, when he netted in a duel with Frankfurt.
Thus, Chelsea ticks the third FA Cup final in a row, in a terribly complicated season, after the setbacks of Roman Abramovici.
In the final act, the Londoners will meet Liverpool, who beat Manchester City 3-2 in the first semi-final. The “Cormorants” have not played in the FA Cup final since 2012.
For the first time in FA Cup history, German coaches will sit on the bench for both teams: Jurgen Klopp and Thomas Tuchel, respectively.
- Chelsea have won 10 consecutive victories with Crystal Palace. The goalscoring average is incredible: the Champions League holder has scored 25 goals and received only 5.
