Barcelona ultras protested during the game against Eintracht Frankfurt

Eintracht Frankfurt received unexpected support from fans. More than 30,000 German fans came to Barcelona and more than 15,000 managed to enter Camp Nou.

There were only 5,000 tickets allocated to the away team, but Eintracht Frankfurt fans also bought tickets originally purchased by Barcelona fans.

According to German media, Barcelona fans have sold over 10,000 tickets to Eintracht Frankfurt fans.

As a result, the German fans created a special atmosphere at the Camp Nou, lit torches and smoke bombs and got ahead – vocally – of the Barcelona supporters.

Dissatisfied with this situation, the Barcelona ultras left their seats on the pitch after the first 45 minutes of the game. It was a form of protest against the decision of some Barcelona fans, who were selling their tickets to Eintracht Frankfurt supporters.

The Blaugrana ultras returned to the pitch after nearly a quarter of an hour into the second half, but the Camp Nou soundtrack continued to be dominated by German fans.
